Lisa Grey

Executive Director • Lead Instructor

Lisa Grey serves as Executive Director of Cat Tales Wildlife Center and Lead Instructor for Cat Tales Wildlife Academy.

Her experience includes:

  • nonprofit administration
  • public relations and fundraising
  • staff coordination and supervision
  • guest engagement
  • conservation education
  • operational safety and compliance
  • program development

Lisa actively oversees daily Wildlife Center operations while assisting with student instruction and operational training within the Academy.

Her background helps students better understand the realities of working within modern wildlife care and nonprofit environments.


Randy Grey

Operations Supervisor • Instructional Support

Randy Grey oversees facility operations, grounds maintenance, exhibit construction, inventory management, and infrastructure support for Cat Tales Wildlife Center.

His experience includes:

  • supply and inventory coordination
  • grounds management
  • operational logistics
  • volunteer supervision
  • infrastructure improvement projects

Randy assists students in understanding the operational responsibilities necessary to maintain a safe and functional wildlife facility environment.


Debbie Wyche

Founder • Director of Wildlife Education

Debbie Wyche is the founder of Cat Tales Wildlife Center and Cat Tales Wildlife Academy, with more than 35 years of experience in exotic animal care, wildlife rescue, zoological operations, and vocational instruction.

Specializing primarily in felids and protected contact management, Debbie has spent decades developing practical training programs focused on animal welfare, observation, professionalism, safety, and situational awareness within wildlife care environments.

Her experience includes:

  • wildlife rescue and sanctuary operations
  • animal behavior observation and management
  • vocational program development
  • conservation education
  • nonprofit leadership
  • protected contact safety practices
  • long-term exotic animal care

Debbie continues to focus on developing training programs that emphasize compassionate care, professionalism, operational responsibility, and respect for wildlife.


Instructional Aides

Cat Tales Wildlife Academy may utilize qualified Instructional Aides to assist with:

  • supervised skill development
  • operational guidance
  • student support
  • safety reinforcement
  • daily training activities

Instructional Aides work under the supervision of Academy leadership and instructors and help reinforce professionalism, consistency, and practical skill development within the training environment.

Instructional Aides do not serve as primary instructors for licensed coursework.
